Wutong Mountain Hike

Also because it is located close to the downtown area, Wutong has become the first choice of local hike .There are many routes up to the Wutong mountain. Here we try to list some.

Route of the shenzhen travel - Wutong Mountain Hike (Xian Hu- Fairy Lake).

Starting from Xian Hu. Although most people will choose Xian Hu park to climb up, It's also the most danger route in terms of robbery possibility. Through the well built pathway, you can easily reach the transmitting station at altitude of 660 meters in 2 hours. In the attached map fo Xian Hu Park, the starting point is the temple, so you have to pay a RMB 20 ticket before climbing.

Or you can start from the gate of Xian Hu Park, choosing the left route after passing several farmlands on right side of the park gate, you can go upward to find the same pathway inside the park. The journey will take 2 hours. Also because having the second choice, the criminals can easily choose this route to avoid the security guards of the park.This route will take you to the peak of Wutong Mountain which is around 650 meters high.
